CAMIGUIN RECEIVES NEW PATROL CARS FROM DILG

MAMBAJAO, Camiguin, July 7 (PIA) — Five brand new, light police patrol jeeps were turned over by the Secretary of Interior and Local Government (SILG) Mar Roxas to all police stations here on July 4, 2015 in time for the 20th Police Community Relations Month celebration.
The formal turn over ceremony was held at the capitol grounds and was witnessed by the local chief executives and various officials from the local and national line agencies.
Roxas hopes that these will help improve or maintain the peace and order situation in the island being one of the top tourism destinations in the country.
This distribution is part of the PNP’s Capability Enhancement Program; a holistic approach which is geared towards lowering crime incidents and empowering the police force and local government units. A total of 1,490 patrol jeeps will be distributed to all local government units. - From piacamiguin.wordpress.com
